Welcome to our Handball Club!!

We are the Wakamiya Commercial High School Handball Club.
In our club there are six 3rd year, four 2nd year and four 1st year students. We practice very hard every day of the week even though it is VERY HOT in summer!! Our best placing in the Aichi Prefectural Tournament was was when we made it to the semi-quarter finals. Out of the 150 teams entered we finished 16th! Hopefully this year we will go all the way. In the Aichi Commercial High School Tournament we managed to place second. The winter sends us to Shizoka Prefecture for training camp. The camp was is on a high level as the best teams in Japan attend. The camp involves matches agaist other attending teams, seminars on fitness training, play making, and rules. This year we hope to win both the Aichi Commercial High School Prefectural Tournament and the Aichi Prefectural Tournament. On July 19th there is a tournament for the southern part of Nagoya. Then on August 1st the Aichi Prefectural Tournament will take place. Please come and support us!!
